My mom’s garden is immense. Em liked to come out here to sip her tea and bask in the sun in the morning before my mom woke up. There’s the most impressive rosemary bush I’ve ever seen. It’s constantly moving from the swarm of drunken bees rolling around in it. We estimated about 200 bees in it at any given point. Sorry, I didn’t get a photo of it, but any photo would not be able to do it justice anyhow. Also not pictured is a fair-sized orange tree and lemon tree right next to each other. The oranges are delicious – we had one every morning for breakfast, and we brought some to the friends we visited. My mom doesn’t eat citrus because it gives her mouth ulcers. That happens to me too if I eat / drink too much, but I am able to tolerate a fair amount. Also, my mom told me that when my cousin, Katie visited, she ate the lemons (with nothing on them) as if they were oranges.
Em took a close look at the flowers on this tree and noted that there are actually two plants coexisting (maybe not happily).
And she created a smoke screen by shaking the pollen out of this one.
Later, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles jumped out of the smoke screen to battle some foot soldiers.
